Mike is managing partner with over 25 years of progressive and diversified tax, accounting, consulting and management experience providing business solutions to the unique needs of small and middle market companies and their owner-managers. His diverse business experience allows him to advise clients in a wide range of accounting functions including cash flow analysis, investments, capital expenditures, financing, credit and collection, insurance, forecasting and budgeting. His industry involvement includes services, real estate, hospitality, construction, manufacturing and distribution, wholesale/retail, oil and gas and high-tech and not-for-profit.
Mike is a sought-after speaker at national and regional conferences. He is a recipient of the national Practical Accountant's Practice Innovation Award and was featured in, and appeared on the cover of, CPA Magazine. Mike has written numerous articles on the financial and care issues of aging. His articles have been published throughout the U.S. and in Canada and he has appeared as a faculty presenter for the Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network satellite broadcasts.
Mike has an MS in Taxation, a BBA in Accountancy and a BA in Sociology. Mike also earned a MS in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas where he received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Gerontology.

Debra Seefeld, CPA |

 Debra Seefeld, a partner of Seefeld Lawson Moeller LLP, manages the firm's audit and accounting practice, oversees the firm's ElderCare/PrimePlus practice, and performs peer reviews through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant's peer review program. Debra's primary responsibility for the firm's audits includes audit, review and preparation of financial statements, and/or special financial compliance reports (including Single Audits). She has managed and performed a variety of special engagements for the firm's clients, including agreed-upon procedures, litigation support, and other financial related services.
Debra's auditing experience includes industries such as: Financial Institutions (banks and credit unions), HUDs, state/local governments, not-for-profit organizations, construction contractors, employee benefit plans, and school districts.
Debra is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston CPA Society. Her other affiliations include industry associations, local business clubs, and area chambers of commerce. Debra currently serves on the board of directors of the Houston CPA Society. She served on the AICPA and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants ElderCare/PrimePlus Taskforce and is past chair of the ElderCare Services committee for the Houston CPA Society. Debra also served on the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Panel. In addition, she serves on the AICPA Small Firm Newsletter Editorial Advisory Board and the Practitioners Publishing Company's - PPC Customer Advisory Committee. Debra served as a founding member and a past president of Executive Women's Alliance. Debra co-authored a bi-weekly newspaper column for Montgomery County's newspaper, The Courier. Debra has had numerous articles published in professional journals, including the Journal of Accountancy.
Debra graduated magna cum laude from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and has been licensed as a certified public accountant for over ten years.

 Debra E. Moeller, CPA is a partner of Seefeld Lawson Moeller LLP. Ms. Moeller founded Debra E. Lawson, CPA, PC in 1994, merging with Seefeld & Company PC in 2007. She was chief accountant for two oil and gas companies, one being publicly traded. Her prior experience includes seven years with Arthur Andersen & Co. where her work included oil & gas taxation. After leaving Arthur Andersen, she worked for Mitchell Energy Corporation as senior tax analyst for seven years prior to starting her firm. Ms. Moeller was also CFO of a large international Holland based company and Controller for a large group of physicians at Houston's Medical Center. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of CPAs and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Houston. She resides in The Woodlands Texas with husband, Dr. David J. Moeller.

Ryan graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked in the banking/financial institution industry. In addition to working in the tax/audit/accounting departments, Ryan also serves as the firm's IT coordinator. Ryan currently attends Lone Star College in efforts to become a CPA in the near future.

Sheryl has worked in public accounting for the last six years and is the controller for Seefeld Lawson Moeller LLP. Sheryl is also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
